Day-Long Training on Aligning Research Proposals with SDGs Held at GAU:
The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) organized a day-long training program titled “Aligning Research Proposals with SDGs: A Strategic Path to Elevate GAU’s Global Impact” for all faculty members of the university on 21 January 2026 at the Old Auditorium.
The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. GKM Mustafizur Rahman, attended the program as the Chief Guest and delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of aligning research initiatives with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to enhance the global visibility and impact of GAU.
Prof. Dr. Md. Safiul Islam Afrad, Treasurer, GAU, and Prof. Dr. M. Moynul Haque, Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, GAU, joined the program as Special Guests and shared valuable insights on integrating SDGs into research planning and execution.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) organized a training session on “Academic Transformation Fund (ATF) Sub-Project Proposal Writing for the 2nd Round’’ on 17 February 2026 for the faculty members of the university.
The program commenced with a welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Nasrin Akter Ivy, Director, IQAC, GAU, who highlighted the importance of effective proposal writing to secure funding and support academic development initiatives.
Prof. Dr. Md. Safiul Islam Afrad, Treasurer, GAU, and Prof. Dr. M. Moynul Haque, Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, GAU, attended the session as Special Guests and emphasized the significance of well-structured proposals in achieving institutional transformation and academic excellence.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) organized a day-long workshop titled “Workshop on Benchmarking Success: QS, THE and WURI Ranking Improvement Strategies for GAU” on 24 February 2026 for all Deans, members of the Promotional Team, and selected officers of the university.
The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. GKM Mustafizur Rahman, attended the program as the Chief Guest and emphasized the importance of strategic planning and coordinated efforts to enhance GAU’s performance in global university rankings.

The program was designed for security personnel, supervisors, and administrative staff to enhance their professional skills and operational effectiveness.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) successfully organized an Advanced Need-Based Competency Assessment of the Proposed Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum for FVMAS on 28 April 2026 at the IQAC Seminar Room.
The program featured valuable insights from distinguished university leaders, including Prof. Dr. GKM Mustafizur Rahman, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, GAU, as Chief Guest, along with Prof. Dr. Md. World Intellectual Property Day 2026 Observed at GAU
Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) observed World Intellectual Property Day 2026 on 29 April 2026 at the IQAC Seminar Room, aligning with the global theme “IP and Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate.” The event highlighted the role of intellectual property in fostering innovation in the sports sector.
The program began with an inaugural speech by Prof. Dr. Nasrin Akter Ivy, Director, IQAC, GAU. Special Guests Prof. Dr. Md. Safiul Islam Afrad, Treasurer, GAU, and Prof. Dr. M. Moynul Haque, Pro-Vice Chancellor, GAU, emphasized integrating IP awareness into academic and research activities.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Masuma Habib, Member, UGC, stressed the importance of IP protection for national development.
